Accusing eyes wearing us down,
Dragged into the drench hole,
Gasping for a drop of care,
Vanquished under this blazing glare,
Finding all roads walled,
Tried to break it with unity,
Only to break ourselves beyond
repair.
Lead by the piercing Light,
In the disguise of an angel,
It deceived all, attracting and
Possessing us, we flew aflight;
Nearing it never we guessed,
The fire it was, would burn us,
Forever and did so mercilessly.
Phones rung, water splashed, classes
empty,
To prove our innocence, raised our
voice,
Only to reach blind ears, instead
Was hosed with swears, curses,
abuses;
Gleam of hope lost our eyes.
Buzzed through Weeds,
In the search of love-nectar,
Was found at last,
Hid behind a hard demeanor;
Curled us all in this warm petals,
Wiping our unnoticed tears dry,
But alas! She was gone,
Disappearing into a far away land.
Troubles blowing again,
We, devoid of a safe heaven,
Roaming like a peace less ghost,
In hope for a peaceful host,
But never found it again;
Only left bare and vulnerable,
Like Jesus crucified, a bait
To accept mistakes of others,
Nailed into the Board –
‘Delinquents’
